wohohoho.. today i went to NTU for some physics thingy. i think it is the Material Science Challenge. Anyway, i had a fun time there. i didn't realise i was crapping the whole day. let me start talking about my day.

i was late. i was supposed to meet them at 7.45 and i reached only at 8. lol. was using my laptop before i left home. =X then we proceeded to NTU for our breakfast. honestly, it's hard to start talking to someone you do not know, since there were 3 S41 innovians, namely yi guang, lun siang and may yi a.k.a. joey. i can tell you, the food there is CHEAP (unlike IJC, so expensive) so we're stuffing ourselves with FOOD since we can buy more than usual as compared to IJC. (the value of our money rose) after we had our breakfast, we went to register. fine, i was awed. i was in fact awed by the students of other schools. my mouth was left wide open and i was in shock. these people are in fact studying so hard for this challenge. REAL HARD. they were studying and studying. i admit, i want to win something. hard work has to be put in. but i also want to enjoy myself! seriously, i did read up on some notes and tried to absorb, and i treated these notes as something extra, i want to learn some things from this challenge. and indeed i did. back to what i want to say. i was talking crap the moment i stepped into NTU. then i saw this banner. i found it familiar. i seem to have seen it somewhere. in fact, with a closer look, i thought she LOOKED like may yi. coincidentally, they had the same surname. lol. and this sparked off a conversation between the S11 and S41. we manage to talk to one another with that as a subject.

lol, surprising isn't it.

anyway, the person in charge of us was called yivon and the other was inge. yivon was crappy too, but i'm crappier. lol. crapped the whole day. then we had this theory paper. KILLER PAPER. i couldn't answer most of the questions! lol. cannot blame me, i do not take chemistry. most of the questions are from chemistry. too bad for me and nicholas.

then we had to do two practicals. i was getting all excited. I WAS GOING TO BECOME A MAD SCIENTIST! lol. i took the cloak and put it on. and i acted like one. had a photo taken.. =D NICE.

mad scientist? this inspiration was given to me by my classmates and a particular teacher. too bad, we couldn't take a group photo. let's hope there are some cloaks in school, so that i can act like one again.

towards the end of the day, we got real noisy. may yi, who was asked by us to take a picture with that banner containing her twin, felt embarrassed. after the talk, the innovians burst into laughter, and this go hold of attention of some other NTU students. then they went up to us, and yivon told them that, she looked like the person in that banner. and guess what, those NTU students agreed and got all excited. this particular lady had the most....exaggerated reaction, she screamed and said, oh my god, she really look like her! then we got more attention. so we proceeded down to the banner and guess what, the lecturers and professors who were originally all tired and bored and SIAN, became lively and laughing. they were shocked. haa, should look at their expressions, real funny.

this concludes my day. anyway, after that i went back to school with hongshing for our trainings.

tomorrow is another day at NTU. hope that WE can win something. =D
